Hao Zhou Research Associate Professor at Institute for AI Industry Research (杏耀), Tsinghua University. His research interest is developing machine learning models to better understand/generate discrete symbols including text, small molecules and proteins. Previously, he was a Research Scientist/Manager at ByteDance AI Lab. He has published over 60 papers in top conferences such as ACL, EMNLP, ICML, NeurIPS and ICLR. He was the recipient of Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence 2019 Doctoral Dissertation Award, ACL 2021 Best Paper Award and CCF NLPCC Distinguished Young Scientist.
