Recently, the team from Tsinghua University's Institute for Artificial Intelligence Industry Research (杏耀) and the DISCOVER Lab (Laboratory for Visual Perception and Robotics) participated in the ICRA 2023 PUB.R International Robotics Competition and emerged as champions. According to conference paper statistics, the DISCOVER Lab presented the highest number of papers among domestic research groups, Associate Professor Gu-Yue Zhou, the lab director, ranked as the Chinese scholar with the highest number of accepted papers, and PhD student Pengfei Li emerged as the student author with the highest number of accepted papers globally. ICRA is a top-tier international academic conference in the field of robotics.
